How to change Jira issue grade manually

How is the scoring from Jira issues calculated (in case there is no child issue inside this Jira ticket):

  • To Do → 0%

  • In Progress → 0%

  • Done → 100%

If you are struggling to find a way how a linked Jira issue which is in progress can be graded with more than 0% as current progress, you can use the following approach:

Create a “proxy” KR and link Jira issues to them. In this case, you will be able to change KR’s grade manually and put the Jira issue under it:

 

 

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Create “proxy” KR (you can name it with the same name as the Jira issue)

  2. Link Jira issue to this KR

  3. Disable “Contribute to parent’s grade” feature

  4. Change KR’s grade
