OKR Board for Confluence macro (Cloud)

Use OKR Board for Confluence macros to embed OKRs into Confluence pages. Using macros helps you to extend the capabilities of your Confluence pages, allowing you to add extra functionality or include dynamic content.

 

Please install OKR Board for Jira first.

Than install OKR Board for Confluence.

Then OKR Board macros can be added to your Confluence page.

 

Macros included:

  • Home page (Personal or Team OKRs with progress chart)

  • Dashboard (Performance report)

  • Alignment view (List of OKRs in the hierarchy)

  • Custom Dashboard

This tutorial will guide you through the OKR Board for Confluence macros installation procedure

 

  • Open Jira

  • Go to “OKR Board for Jira” app first

  • Navigate to "Settings" -> "API Token"

  • Press the "New Token" button to create an access token and copy it

 

  • Open Confluence

  • Navigate to "Apps" -> "Manage apps" → “OKR Board Configuration“

  • Paste the access token into “API token“ field and press Save

  • Congratulations! You have successfully connected OKR Board for Confluence with the Jira app.

     

 

How to add OKR Board macro on Confluence page

To add a macro:

  1. When editing Confluence page, select ➕ from the toolbar

  2. Find the macro. Start typing “OKR Board” in the search field and select it

  3. Select Insert

You can also type / on the page to bring up the same list you'd see by selecting from the toolbar.

To edit a macro:

  1. Select the macro placeholder. The floating toolbar appears.

  2. Select Edit. The right panel opens.

  3. Modify the parameters. Your changes are saved as you go.

  4. Resume editing the page, and the panel closes.
