Custom fields

The Custom Fields feature lets you capture and tailor specific data points according to your project or organizational requirements, enhancing flexibility and granularity in OKR tracking and management.

Available Custom field types

 

Custom field types

There are 9 Custom field types currently available. They are split into two categories depending on their position on the OKR form: Content Area & Right Panel.

Here is the list:

  • Single-line text - text up to 37 symbols

  • Long text - text up to 2000 symbols

  • Link - up to 30 links can be added in a single field

  • Assignee - works like the Stakeholder field

  • Date - additional date field

  • Single-select - create your own dropdowns

  • Multi-select - create your own dropdowns

  • Number - numbers field, supports both negative and positive values

  • Money - numbers field with an addition of a currency icon

 

Custom field creation

To create a Custom field:

  1. Open “Settings”

  2. Go to the “Custom fields” tab

  3. Click “+ Create custom field”

  4. Choose your options & once ready, hit “Create”

During the creation process, you can modify the following:

  • The type of a field

  • Its name

  • OKR type for which this field will be available: Objective, Key Result, Jira Issue

  • Workspaces for which this field will be available

  • Help text that contains field description (not mandatory)

You can create up to 50 Custom fields

 

Custom Field visibility

All Custom field types are designed to be shown on an OKR form.

Majority of them are also available to be added as columns to the table.
Here is the list of available columns:

  • Assignee

  • Date

  • Single-select

  • Multi-select

  • Number

  • Money

By default, the columns are hidden and need to be enabled.

The added columns are also available in the filter.
